Although not all of these homes are my listings, I'm happy to help you take a spin through a suitable listing if a relocation to Raleigh is on your mind...just say the word.
Lastly, for my number crunchers out there, here is a visual on what showing activity has looked like since July.
Locals tend to flee the city for lake life, sandy shores of the Outer Banks, or the cool mountain air near Asheville. So slower showing activity is expected and typically picks up again after Labor Day. Although, our summer HAS remained relatively steady with movers and shakers...with last week's dead week as an exception, heralding the end of summer for us.
What we've seen is the majority of interest, not surprisingly, in the sub- million mark but a bit of a pop in the $1.25M - $1.5M market. I personally believe there is a sizable "gain" in what you can purchase up and above $1.25M here in Raleigh. So if you have the means and the desire, spending a few dollars more could land you into a truly spectacular home.
Until next time...I'm...
Truly yours,
Maggie
